Testosterone is often defined as "fuel" to men
who can improve mood and mental capacity. Research
has shown that men with low testosterone were more likely to experience
depression, irritability, or difficult to focus the mind.
Testosterone is the hormone responsible for male sexual
arousal and growth of hair on the chest. But
many men are complaining because of the decline in testosterone levels when
entering their 40s.
Although actually lower the hormone is normally
experienced by men with age, they actually can maintain the stability of sexual
arousal in the following ways. Testosterone
is the hormone LH is produced by the pituitary gland. However,
controlled by the LH hormone testosterone as testosterone is controlled by LH. When
the amount of the blood increases, the testosterone molecule to exert pressure
on the pituitary gland causes the gland to stop the production of LH. Only
when the amount of testosterone decreases LH production begins again. LH
produced activates the testes and orders extra production in order to increase
the amount of testosterone.
Low levels of testosterone in men can cause various
disorders, both physically and psychologically. Including the reduction of body
hair, erectile dysfunction, reduced muscle mass, to impaired fertility.
Some signs of disruption in men with hormone testosterone:
The low
Passion Sex. Testosterone
plays a role in regulating the libido of a man. As
people age, most men will experience more drastic decline of the sex drive. Low
levels of testosterone can also make it difficult to achieve orgasm.
Erection
difficulties. Testosterone
also helps men achieve erections. Testosterone
itself does not cause an erection, but it stimulates the receptors in the brain
to produce nitric oxide, a molecule that triggers an erection.
Low testosterone is associated with many conditions that
cause erectile dysfunction, including obesity and diabetes atherosclerosis.
Low
Semen Production Fluids. Testosterone
also plays a role in the production of semen, the fluid that helps the
development of sperm. Men
with low testosterone will see a decrease in the number of sperm when
ejaculation volume.
Hair
loss. Hair
production is influenced also by the hormone testosterone. Baldness
is a natural thing when men get older, but men with low testosterone may
experience hair loss more quickly before his old age.
Tired
easy. Men
with low testosterone tend to be gluttonous and less energy in their daily
activities.
Loss of Muscle Mass. Because
testosterone also has a role in building and strengthening the muscles, men
with low testosterone may experience a decrease in muscle mass and strength,
especially in the hands, legs, or chest.
Obesity.
Men
with low testosterone will increase body fat. Although
the reason behind this is less clear, studies have shown that the genes that
control the body fat percentage is also responsible for circulating levels of
testosterone in men.
A
decrease in bone mass. Weakening
of bones or osteoporosis is often referred to be regarded as a condition that
occurs only in females only.
Men with low testosterone also may experience bone loss
due to the production of testosterone may help strengthen bones. As
a result, men are more prone to bone fractures, typically in the hip, foot,
ribs and wrist.
Mood
Unstable. Women
often experience mood swings during menopause, when estrogen levels decline
them. Men
with low testosterone levels can also experience the same symptoms.
